A Memorable Visit to NIFT Delhi: Celebrating Design Excellence and Student Success
We had the opportunity to visit NIFT Delhi, one of India’s premier design institutes, and the experience was nothing short of inspiring. Walking through the huge campus, I felt the creative energy all around this top design school.
Meeting our Desizn Circle students, around 350 of them studying across various years and programs. Their passion for design and their enthusiasm for learning reaffirmed why NIFT remains a dream destination for aspiring designers.
NIFT Delhi: A Hub of Design Innovation
NIFT Delhi, established in 1986, is the flagship campus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology and has consistently ranked among the top design schools in India. The institute offers a diverse range of programs, catering to various facets of design and technology:
Undergraduate Programs (B.Des & B.FTech)
Bachelor of Design (B.Des) – Specializations in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, and Leather Design.
- Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) – Focuses on apparel production and technology.
Postgraduate Programs (M.Des & MFM)
- Master of Design (M.Des) – For advanced design research and innovation.

Our founders, Sumit Sir and Ankita Ma’am, are NIFT Delhi alumni, and their growth from students to mentors is inspiring. They often visit the campus to guide students, showing their dedication to shaping future designers.
Meeting our 50+ Desizn Circle students today across different batches was a proud moment. Seeing them thrive in such a competitive environment, working on innovative projects, and preparing for successful careers in design was incredibly fulfilling.
International Collaborations & Global Exposure
NIFT Delhi’s global partnerships provide students with unparalleled exposure. One of the most notable collaborations is with the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York. Through student exchange programs, workshops, and joint projects, NIFT students get a chance to experience international design pedagogy and industry practices.
Additionally, NIFT has tie-ups with several other reputed institutions across Europe and Asia, allowing students to participate in semester exchanges, internships, and collaborative research projects.

Annual Graduation Day – A Grand Celebration
One of the most awaited events at NIFT Delhi is the Graduation day , held every in the month of May. It is a moment of pride for students, faculty, and parents as graduating designers receive their degrees. The ceremony is often graced by renowned designers, industry leaders, and alumni , making it a memorable occasion.

Placements & Industry Connect
NIFT Delhi boasts an excellent placement record , with top fashion houses, luxury brands, and corporate giants recruiting students every year. Companies like Shahi Exports , Arvind group , Tommy Hilfiger, Reliance Brands, Aditya Birla Fashion, and Myntra regularly visit the campus. The average salary package ranges between 6-12 LPA, with some students securing even higher offers in international markets.
